Visiting Us for the First Time?

Here’s Everything You Need to Know!

If you want to schedule a tour, please call our clinic first. We advise you to leave your dog at home during the tour as there may be client dogs in for their sessions. We kindly ask for your patience as we respect their time with us.

Please be on time for your appointments. We have a tight schedule and work with other clients from hour to hour.

Please always keep your dog on a leash. We strongly advise against using retractable leashes. Please remove your outdoor footwear at the door and put on your “indoor” footwear.

Make sure your dog has relieved himself before entering our facility. Kindly pick up after your dog and place it in the waste container outside our door.

Reminders

All dogs need a Veterinarian Assessment Cognizant Form filled in by your vet before the initial visit.

For swim sessions you can bring towels, life jackets, treats and toys to the pool area. IMPORTANT: Please do not feed your dog within 3 hours prior to their pool visit.

We require nails to be cut short and rounded as we can be badly scratched as he/she swims.

Please brush your dog before you visit to remove burrs or other foreign matter.

What to Do To Avoid Pool Accidents?

Pool accidents are rare but may happen to older dogs or dogs with neurological deficits (paralysis). Sometimes they will become overly excited or due to the intrinsic nature of exercise involving increased motion, they could poop in the pool. If this happens, we need to disinfect the entire pool and filter system. As a result, we will charge a $200 fee to compensate for closure & down-time.

To avoid accidents, please ensure your dog has taken care of their bathroom needs. If your dog has paralysis, we require the use of doggie water diapers.

Thank you for following our guidelines!
